sometimes i wish i could go back in time and relive experiences. i know that technology doesn't exist, but i try to recall certain moments and my memory goes blank.
i am not an expert on the human brain. however, i wonder if there is a way to improve recall through the use of ai to regenerate experiences, reliving them again.
let's say i could do it. i could get any memory i wanted. i could relive any experience. this made me think a lot about what i would want to revisit.
how do i differentiate the good experiences from the bad? maybe emotionally, but bad moments define and lead to great ones. if life was perfect, there would be nothing to cherish because all of it was good.
so would i really want to recover experiences? maybe. all i know is that life has been moving fast. i often forget how many places i've visited, food i've eaten, people i've met, because i'm too focused on the present.
when i get time to think and reflect on where i am in life, i realize how much time has passed, how much has happened. even though i have all these tools, photos, messages, recordings, to remember moments, i still feel like something is missing.
this is a weird feeling to have when i'm only beginning my life. just reaching 20, but the past seems so distant.
i feel like there should be something, an app, which can help you slow down and reflect. for the past few months i have been doing this. sitting at waterfronts, going on late night walks, playing soccer. no phone, no music, just quietly thinking.
i should design a tool which can mimic this. mimicking how the human brain processes thoughts, memories, and information.
